Thank you for those who took action to attend the Elevations East African Cultural Center diversity grant project meeting (1) held Saturday May 5th 2018 at 483 Oakwood Avenue Toronto.

Words cannot express the immense gratitude and joy for those who turned up from the diverse regions of East Africa (Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda ) first of all to join together with the intention of growing and building a thriving visible tangible community here in Toronto Ontario Canada.

Secondly to engage their skills ,talents and abilities towards this strength in diversity project.

I believe great things will happen

We accomplished a great deal of progress by registering new members and electing some of them to the board of directors.

The second Project meeting is taking place this Saturday May 12th 2018 at 5:00 pm at 483 Oakwood Avenue. It is open to the public we still have opportunity for you to join the membership and participate in the leadership of the organization.

I will discourage such prejudice by others at every opportunity.

I will treat all people with dignity and respect.

I will strive daily to honor this pledge, knowing that the world will be a better place because of my effort.
